RenoSweep: Privacy Policy & EULA
Effective Date: March 3, 2026
PART I: PRIVACY POLICY
RenoSweep is a specialized storage management tool. We prioritize Functional Neutrality, meaning our code interacts with your files only to perform requested maintenance, never to profile or harvest your identity.
Localized Functional Logic
RenoSweep performs a singular role: identifying and purging redundant APK files, residual application fragments, and temporary system caches.
Permissions: To execute these tasks, the application requires "All Files Access."
Data Gravity: All scanning and cleanup algorithms run exclusively on your local device. We do not maintain remote servers for file metadata. Your documents, photos, and file structures are never uploaded, mirrored, or analyzed by our team or any external entity.
Technical Telemetry and Third-Party Frameworks
While your personal content remains local, RenoSweep utilizes a lean layer of third-party integration to ensure software integrity and measure our market footprint.
Firebase (Google): We use this for real-time crash diagnostics. If the app fails, a pseudonymized stack trace is sent to us so we can stabilize the software.
Attribution & Analytics (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer): These services identify how you discovered RenoSweep (e.g., through an ad or organic search). They process pseudonymized hardware identifiers like your Advertising ID (GAID or IDFA).
Contractual Safeguards: These partners are legally restricted from accessing your file system. They process "event-level" technical signals, not your personal life.
Legal Basis for Data Handling
Our minimal processing is anchored in the following legal foundations:
Contractual Necessity: The local analysis of your storage is required to deliver the optimization services you have initiated by using the app.
Legitimate Interests: We process non-sensitive technical IDs to prevent fraudulent installs, repair software bugs, and sustain our commercial operations.
Your Rights of Sovereignty
We recognize your absolute authority over your digital footprint. You are entitled to the following:
Right of Access: You have the right to request a summary of any personal data we hold. As your files are local, you have direct access to them. For technical telemetry held by partners, you may contact our DPO.
Right to Rectification: You may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal/technical data we or our partners process.
Right to Know (Sharing & Selling): You have the right to know if your data is shared or sold. RenoSweep does not sell your personal data. Sharing is strictly limited to the technical operational partners listed in Section 2.
Right to Deletion: You have the right to request the erasure of your data. Uninstalling RenoSweep immediately purges all local logs. For technical partner logs, our DPO can facilitate a deletion request.
Right to Lodge a Complaint: You are explicitly entitled to contact a regulatory authority or data protection supervisor in your jurisdiction if you believe our data handling violates your legal rights.
Retention and Circumstances
Operational Logs: Information regarding files identified for cleanup is volatile. It exists in your device’s active memory during the scan and is permanently purged the moment the application is closed.
Technical Telemetry: Non-identifiable data held by third-party partners is retained only for the minimum duration required for aggregate reporting (typically 12 to 24 months) and is then fully anonymized or destroyed.
Choice and Opt-Out Mechanisms
We provide the following methods to ensure you are never tracked against your will:
Opting Out of Sharing/Sales: You can prevent the sharing of technical identifiers by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android) in your system settings.
Permission Control: You may revoke storage access at any time through your device settings, which will instantly terminate all application functionality.
Data Protection Officer (DPO)
Our DPO supervises our privacy protocols and serves as your primary point of contact for data inquiries.

PART II: END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)
License Grant
RenoSweep grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the software on a single device for your personal maintenance, subject to your adherence to these terms.
Usage Restrictions
By utilizing RenoSweep, you agree not to:
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or derive the source code of the scanning engine.
Use the application to intentionally interfere with system-critical files required for device stability.
Modify, redistribute, or commercially exploit the software in any form.
Intellectual Property
The RenoSweep name, branding, and proprietary cleaning algorithms remain the exclusive property of the developer. No ownership rights are transferred to the user under this license.
Disclaimer of Warranty
RenoSweep is provided "AS IS." While we strive for absolute precision, we do not warrant that the application will identify every piece of residual data or remain entirely free from technical errors. Users are responsible for reviewing items flagged for removal before confirming deletion.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RenoSweep and its creators shall not be liable for any accidental loss of data, performance issues, or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software.
Termination
This agreement is effective until terminated by you (via uninstallation) or by us. We reserve the right to revoke your license immediately if you violate any terms of this EULA.
